The clergy cannot do everything in a parish and have the help of a number of people to ensure that services and parish life runs efficiently. Some people offer a listening ear and keep others company when they are in need (pastoral assistants). Others offer practical skills such as gardening, cleaning or giving a lift to church services.
There are many small opportunities to get involved, like passing round the collection plate, welcoming people who arrive, reading a lesson or prayers and of course, there are larger responsibilities, such as joining the PCC to get an overview of the whole parish, helping with church finance or developing our worship or youth provision. If you would like to get involved, please contact us.
If you already help in our parish, thank you! Click here for the passworded helper rota information.
