So you’ve decided to get married in either St Nicholas’ in Worth, or St Barnabas’ in Pound Hill ? Congratulations! We conduct weddings throughout the year, except in Lent (from Ash Wednesday to Easter Day) and Advent (from 1st Sunday of Advent to Christmas).

Marriage Preparation Days
Marriage preparation days are held quarterly (see the Calendar). The morning is spent looking at many aspects of marriage including talking you through the choices you can make for the ceremony itself such as whether to have a choir and bells . After lunch (included), we discuss your ceremony in church and give you a taster of wedding hymns and processional music to help you with your choices.
