William Johnson Private 9108, 8th (Service) Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment. Missing, assumed killed in action on 3 May 1917 in an attack on Hoppy Wood as part of the 2nd Battle of Arras.

William was the brother of James Johnson who had already been killed early in the war on 27 February 1915 in fighting around Ypres in Belgium and is also commemorated on the memorial.
