Wednesday Messy Church at St Barnabas’ happens in our large hall with plenty of room for all. Arrive from 15.00 onwards and be warmly welcomed with a drink and a biscuit, while the children get stuck into whatever craft takes their fancy, including a food-related one such as cake decorating.  All of the activities relate to the bible story of the day and the hall hums with activity.

Around 15.50, while the volunteers clean the tables and lay out the tea, we all go into the church, hear the bible story, say a prayer and sing a song together with actions (and sometimes puppets!).

Then it’s back to the hall for a tea such as chicken nuggets, cheese, peppers, carrots sticks, sandwiches, cucumber, grapes, cakes and drinks. We are happy to accommodate your dietary requirements if you let us know in advance.
