Revd Sarah Upchurch joined us as Associate Vicar in March 2018.

Trained as a general nurse, later specialising in paediatrics, Sarah worked as a ward manager before becoming a priest. Ordained Deacon in 2012, she served as a curate in Ardingly before joining the Church of the Ascension, Haywards Heath as Associate Priest.

Sarah brings with her much experience of children’s ministry and a passion for sharing the love of God with people of all ages in a relaxed and safe environment. She is also a Padre in the Army Cadet Force.

Sarah, whose interests include musical theatre and films, is joined in Crawley by husband Colin and the youngest of their three sons.
