The full list of 2025 Advent and Christmas services are as follows:
- A Candlelight Advent Sunday 30 November 4pm, St Nicholas’ – A reflective service beginning in darkness, the church becomes ever brighter with candles, symbolising the light of love and hope dispelling fear and despair.
- Carols for All Sunday 14 December 4pm, St Barnabas’ – Sing familiar carols and have refreshments afterwards
- Blue Christmas Wednesday 17 December 6pm, St Barnabas’ – A service where sadness is acknowledged alongside hope, for those who may find this Christmas difficult
- Advent Space Thursday 18 December 6pm, St Barnabas’ – An evening of quiet meditation and Relaxation “T’was the week before Christmas…”
- Nine Lessons and Carols Sunday 21 December 4pm, St Nicholas’ – A traditional service in ancient surroundings; followed by mince pies and mulled wine
- Crib Service Wednesday 24 December Christmas Eve 2pm, St Barnabas’
- Christingle Wednesday 24 December Christmas Eve 4pm, St Barnabas’
- Nativity Wednesday 24 December Christmas Eve 4pm, St Nicholas’
- Midnight Mass Wednesday 24 December Christmas Eve 11.30pm, Both Churches
