You are warmly invited to join us on Saturday November 2 at 6.30pm in the ancient setting of St Nicholas’ Church, Crawley, for a Eucharist for All Souls Day. During the service, Worth Choir will sing the beautiful Requiem setting by Sir Henry Walford Davies as we remember those who are no longer with us. A collection plate is available for donations.
We were so lucky to welcome to St Nicholas’, young pianist Katie Yao Morgan who played a piano recital for us on Thursday, after the usual 10.30 Eucharist service.
Katie, a graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin School, now studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and was able to arrange this concert for us in her half-term. Katie played
Beethoven Sonata op.78, Schumann’s Humoreske and Kabalevsky’s Rondo to the universal enjoyment of all watching.
